Ingredients

1 pound flank steak, sliced thinly against the grain

2 cups broccoli florets

1 red bell pepper, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 inch ginger, grated

1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Cooked white rice or quinoa for serving

Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Instructions

In a medium bowl, combine the sliced flank steak with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well to coat the beef evenly with the marinade. Let it marinate for about 15-20 minutes.

While the beef marinates, blanch the broccoli florets in boiling water for 1-2 minutes until bright green and slightly tender. Remove and immediately transfer to ice-cold water to stop the cooking process. Drain and set aside.

In a large wok or skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated beef in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until browned, then stir-fry for another 2 minutes until cooked through. Remove the beef from the wok and set aside.

In the same wok, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Sauté the minced garlic and grated ginger for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.

Next, add the sliced red bell pepper and briefly stir-fry for about 2 minutes until slightly softened.

Return the beef to the wok along with the blanched broccoli florets. Stir everything together to mix well.

Drizzle the sesame oil over the stir-fry, tossing everything for another 1-2 minutes to heat through and combine the flavors.

Remove from heat and serve over a bed of cooked rice or quinoa. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
