broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, shredded chicken, broccoli, cream of chicken soup, and sour cream.
Add in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined.
Stir in 3/4 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese, reserving the remaining cheese for topping.
Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish evenly.
Sprinkle the reserved cheddar cheese on top of the casserole.
If using, evenly sprinkle breadcrumbs over the cheese for added crunch.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges are slightly golden.
Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Optional breadcrumbs can be added for a crunchy topping.
