Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper, cooking until they are softened, about 5-7 minutes. Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant. Remove the veggies from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the sliced beef, seasoning with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Cook until browned, about 5-8 minutes. Make sure to stir occasionally to break the meat apart.
In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, sautéed vegetables, and half of the provolone cheese (¾ cup). Stir in the cooked beef until well incorporated.
Transfer the beef and vegetable mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread it out evenly and top with the remaining provolone and mozzarella cheese.
Place the casserole in the preheated oven. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
