Ingredients

4 cups all-purpose flour

1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) instant yeast

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup whole milk, warmed

1/2 cup water, warmed

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

1/4 cup brown sugar, packed

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened (for the filling)

Cream cheese frosting (for topping)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 2 cups of flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt until combined.

In a separate bowl, mix the warmed milk, water, and melted butter. Add the eggs and whisk until smooth.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring with a wooden spoon.

Slowly incorporate the remaining flour, one cup at a time, until a soft dough forms.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic.

Place the dough into a greased bowl, cover with a clean towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle (about 16x12 inches).

Spread the softened butter for the filling evenly over the dough, then sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture evenly on top.

Starting from one long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log. Cut into 12 equal rolls.

Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let them rise again for about 30 minutes.

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Once the rolls have risen, bake them for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

Allow the rolls to cool slightly before drizzling cream cheese frosting over the top.

                          Prep Time: 20 mins | Total Time: 2 hrs 30 mins | Servings: 12

                            - Presentation Tips: Serve the cinnamon rolls on a large plate, drizzle frosting generously, and sprinkle some extra ground cinnamon on top for a decorative touch. Optionally, garnish with a few edible flowers for a pop of color!
